Peter Mandelson said in 1998 that he was “intensely relaxed about people getting filthy rich as long as they paid their taxes”. The man he called “My best pal” Jeffry Epstein specialised in legal tax avoidance schemes for the “filthy rich” saving them millions. Perhaps Mandelson didn’t notice this just as he didn’t notice the trafficked children who Epstein and his famous pals raped and abused.

Perhaps Peter sees only what he wants to see and in my experience, that means those with power who are useful to him. Everyone else is ‘staff’.
