What is and isn’t a culture war? Everything and nothing it seems. The phrase is chucked around so much at the moment that it has become all things to all people.

I realise, that what I would describe as an out and out political scrap is now defined as a ‘culture war’ which somehow lessens its importance and this has started to bother me. Some on the left…
