Covid. The Brain Fog of Forgetting

I am writing this out of the mind soup that occurs when you have Covid. You probably have all had it, but I am late to this, it’s my first time.

Obviously, there has always been talk of how strange the virus, in all its variants makes someone feel. Depressed, paranoid and dissociated in my case. It is no longer a serious illness but an everyday pain that we just have to get through. Colds, Flu, Covid. It is no big deal anymore.

It seems melodramatic even to go on about it. Many do not bother to test or isolate any more. Those days are gone. Just get on with it. I find myself in these weird days of slump, where the most I can engage , is watching Michael Portillo on telly, making tiles on one of his “Long Weekends” , also thinking about how the pandemic actually was.
